Code, Health - General § 21–1111","heading":"","body":"(a) This section does not apply to any:\n(1) Surgical or dental instrument;\n(2) Physical therapy equipment;\n(3) X–ray apparatus; or\n(4) Component part or accessory of any of these items.\n(b) A person may not:\n(1) Sell, distribute, or otherwise dispose of any drug, medicine, pharmaceutical preparation, or medicinal preparation by means of any public exhibition, entertainment, performance, or carnival, commonly known as a “medicine show” or “patent medicine show”; or\n(2) Put or cause to be put, in any way, any package, parcel, or sample of any drug or medicine:\n(i) In or on any part of any house, building, or yard without the consent of the owner or occupant; or\n(ii) On any street or public highway.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-1111","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"4d772aba97ce7690377a3f33d840bdfb73215a06d1c8d9297c58e71297533183","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-1110","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-1112"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
