Code, Health - General § 21–226","heading":"","body":"(a) The manufacturer, packer, or distributor of any prescription drug that is sold or distributed in this State shall:\n(1) Keep correct copies of any printed matter that is:\n(i) Required to be included in any package in which the drug is sold or distributed; or\n(ii) Approved under the federal act; and\n(2) Send copies of the printed matter to any health practitioner who is authorized to administer the drug and who makes a written request for information about the drug.\n(b) This section does not exempt any person from any labeling requirement imposed under any other provision of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-226","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"4f6d5117b01fedf9c88f35c87b779fb448d321781e4fb590430288437573ec7a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-225","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-227"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
