Code, Health - General § 21–2F–01","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Phenibut product” means a product marketed for human consumption containing any beta–phenyl–gamma–aminobutyric acid HCl.\n(c) (1) “Retailer” means a person that:\n(i) Sells, prepares, or maintains phenibut products; or\n(ii) Advertises, represents, or holds itself out as selling, preparing, or maintaining phenibut products.\n(2) “Retailer” includes a manufacturer, wholesaler, store, restaurant, hotel, catering facility, camp, bakery, delicatessen, supermarket, grocery store, convenience store, gas station, or food or drink company.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-2F-01","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"b5c14baa568dc59ad73985f86553f6b3b108728ef5a94ac133cdcf2b8296415e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-2e-04","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-2f-02"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
