Code, Health - General § 21–307","heading":"","body":"(a) To qualify for a license, an applicant shall:\n(1) Comply with the requirements of this subtitle and the rules and regulations adopted under this subtitle;\n(2) Agree to permit access to the food establishment for the purpose of any inspection permitted or required under this subtitle; and\n(3) Pay the license fee assessed under § 21-308 of this subtitle, unless exempted from the fee under this subtitle or any rule or regulation adopted under this subtitle.\n(b) Before issuing a license, the Department may inspect the food establishment identified in the application to determine if the food establishment meets the requirements for a license.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-307","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"b16344cd1625b3509c589b5f341597e16559c18cfa942536d3b65ee5065e852b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-306","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
