Code, Health - General § 21–318","heading":"","body":"(a) If the Department believes that a person is violating any provision of this subtitle or any regulation adopted under this subtitle, the Department may have the person served with a written order that directs the person served to abate the violation within a time specified in the order.\n(b) Except as otherwise provided in Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article, the Department shall give any person served with an order under this section an opportunity for a hearing before the Department.\n(c) After a hearing under this section, the Department may affirm, modify, or withdraw the order.\n(d) A person who is served with an order under this section may not violate that order.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-318","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"e636c2d98638b1e4c1a0c8580fe05b4536e1b4f120bd14e1a4c6bfbc85e87714","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-317","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-321"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
