Code, Health - General § 21–808","heading":"","body":"(a) An applicant for a license shall:\n(1) Submit an application to the Secretary on the form that the Secretary requires; and\n(2) Pay to the Secretary an application fee established by the Secretary under § 2-104 of this article.\n(b) The application fee under this section shall be based on:\n(1) If the applicant has a manufacturing facility located in this State, the annual production of any frozen dessert or frozen dessert mix in this State; and\n(2) If the applicant has a manufacturing facility not located in this State, the annual sales of any frozen dessert or frozen dessert mix in this State.\n(c) For each license for which a person applies, the person shall submit a separate application and pay a separate application fee.\n(d) The application:\n(1) Shall be on the form that the Secretary requires; and\n(2) Shall include:\n(i) The location of the manufacturing plant at which the frozen dessert or frozen dessert mix is manufactured; and\n(ii) Any brand name under which the frozen dessert or frozen dessert mix is to be sold.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=21-808","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"4e31d945dd24098926ea35c05ede1cc84f5fcaf32e7a8870b8e145b7c3cac5d9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-807","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-21-809"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
