Code, Health - General § 22–306","heading":"","body":"(a) Unless a written protest is filed with the Secretary, a State adopted federal regulation takes effect in this State on the date that it becomes effective as a federal rule or regulation.\n(b) Any person who may be affected adversely by a State adopted federal regulation may:\n(1) File a protest against the State adopted federal regulation not more than 30 days after its effective date; and\n(2) Request a hearing.\n(c) A protest under this section stays the effect of the State adopted federal regulation as a rule or regulation of this State.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=22-306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"307adbe6a6f245eceb8cd9b4e9d298f5f257c74c4b57994bc78fdfaa4e64a913","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-22-305","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-22-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
