Code, Health - General § 24–207","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department shall adopt rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this section, including:\n(1) Standards for marking transparent glass doors; and\n(2) Definitions of “business establishment”, “public building”, and “commercial building or structure”.\n(b) In each business establishment, public building, or commercial building or structure, each door that has a surface area of at least 80 percent transparent glass shall be marked so that it warns any individual nearing it that a glass door is present.\n(c) A person who violates any provision of this section or any rule or regulation adopted under this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $50.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=24-207","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"22963f1220d2ee75e51aae124f2da9979f564d7be0d9103270e63e44b11ff0c0","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-24-206","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-24-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
