Code, Health - General § 7–515","heading":"","body":"(a) Each board may adopt regulations for the conduct of its meetings.\n(b) (1) Each board serves in an advisory capacity.\n(2) Each board shall:\n(i) Submit to the Secretary an annual report on:\n1. The needs of individuals with an intellectual disability; and\n2. The extent to which its State residential center meets these needs;\n(ii) Advise the administrative head of the State residential center on its goals, programs, and policies;\n(iii) Help in evaluating the degree to which these goals are achieved;\n(iv) Review and make recommendations about the annual budget of the State residential center;\n(v) Assume leadership in developing community understanding of the needs of individuals with an intellectual disability; and\n(vi) Carry out any other responsibility that the administrative head of the State residential center requests.","path":["Article - Health - General"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghg\u0026section=7-515","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:48Z","sha256":"4f4f19881ea3cf3fdaf8d83257ff8cd6609133804af25c6e834d8360a9e50e60","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-7-514","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-general-7-516"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
