Code, Health Occupations § 1–505","heading":"","body":"In any action brought under this subtitle, a court may:\n(1) Issue an injunction to restrain continued violation of this subtitle;\n(2) Reinstate the employee to the same, or an equivalent position held before the violation of § 1-502 of this subtitle;\n(3) Remove any adverse personnel record entries based on or related to the violation of § 1-502 of this subtitle;\n(4) Reinstate full fringe benefits and seniority rights;\n(5) Require compensation for lost wages, benefits, and other remuneration; and\n(6) Assess reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation expenses against:\n(i) The employer, if the employee prevails; or\n(ii) The employee, if the court determines that the action was brought by the employee in bad faith and without basis in law or fact.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=1-505","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"13db46a74d1f839fa4751c278876809f60cbbf1c82f1449963b8e2bc91d0ba59","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-1-504","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-1-506"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
