Code, Health Occupations § 10–306","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to the provisions of this section, the Board may waive any examination requirement of this subtitle for an applicant who is licensed in any other state to practice:\n(1) Occupational therapy; or\n(2) Limited occupational therapy or its equivalent.\n(b) The Board may grant a waiver under this section only if the applicant:\n(1) Pays the application fee set by the Board under § 10-304 of this subtitle; and\n(2) Provides adequate evidence that the applicant:\n(i) Meets the qualifications otherwise required by this title; and\n(ii) Became licensed in the other state after meeting requirements in that or any other state that are at least equivalent to the requirements of this State.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=10-306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"5658e7a19725dbecaba85f762f2e65d26f10d8963e82490de16abaa33906ffc8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-10-305","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-10-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
