Code, Health Occupations § 11–204","heading":"","body":"(a) A majority of the members then serving on the Board is a quorum.\n(b) The Board shall meet:\n(1) At least twice a year, at the times and places that it determines; and\n(2) When requested by the Secretary.\n(c) In accordance with the budget of the Board, each member of the Board is entitled to:\n(1) Compensation, at a rate determined by the Board, for each day on which the member is engaged in the duties of the member’s office; and\n(2) Reimbursement for expenses at a rate determined by the Board.\n(d) The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the budget of the Board.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=11-204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"c82dcc7616c9e20d221af34334d7435eed4500a5faf5acccdf6b387818b43383","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-11-203","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-11-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
