Code, Health Occupations § 11–505","heading":"","body":"(a) A person who violates any provision of this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.\n(b) (1) This subsection does not apply to:\n(i) An individual licensed under Title 14, Subtitle 3 of this article; or\n(ii) An individual supervised by an individual licensed under Title 14, Subtitle 3 of this article.\n(2) A person who violates § 11–501, § 11–502, or § 11–504 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine not exceeding $50,000 to be assessed by the Board in accordance with regulations adopted by the Board.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=11-505","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"7e923d523b0f0b2b80cf606d6b6f471ee98250e7c90387b96a01a3ed208eb361","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-11-504","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-11-601"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
