Code, Health Occupations § 14–5B–18.1","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, a licensed physician may not employ or supervise an individual practicing radiation therapy, radiography, nuclear medicine technology, or radiology assistance without a license.\n(b) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an employer may not employ an individual practicing radiation therapy, radiography, nuclear medicine technology, or radiology assistance without a license.\n(c) A disciplinary panel may impose a civil penalty of up to $5,000 for employing an individual without a license under this section.\n(d) The Board shall remit any penalty collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=14-5B-18.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"741301ac113a23455f597f70076868fc7a56732446b1e4104f565819cd52e710","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5b-18","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5b-19"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
