Code, Health Occupations § 14–5B–19","heading":"","body":"(a) A person who violates § 14–5B–17 or § 14–5B–18 of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both.\n(b) A person who violates § 14–5B–17 or § 14–5B–18 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $5,000 to be levied by a disciplinary panel.\n(c) The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this section into the Board of Physicians Fund.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=14-5B-19","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"97499aa1ec46c095d661a5c666da12ee76e69766cb0d282c981931d28885b297","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5b-18.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5b-20"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
