Code, Health Occupations § 14–5F–16","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) The Board may place a licensee on inactive status if the licensee submits to the Board:\n(i) An application for inactive status on the form required by the Board; and\n(ii) The inactive status fee set by the Board.\n(2) The Board shall issue a license to a naturopathic doctor who is on inactive status if the individual is otherwise entitled to be licensed under this subtitle and submits to the Board:\n(i) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with the requirements of § 14–308.1 of this title;\n(ii) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with the continuing education requirements the Board adopts for this purpose; and\n(iii) A reinstatement fee set by the Board.\n(b) The Board shall reinstate the license of a naturopathic doctor who has failed to renew the license for any reason if the naturopathic doctor:\n(1) Meets the renewal requirements of § 14–5F–15 of this subtitle;\n(2) Pays to the Board a reinstatement fee set by the Board; and\n(3) Submits to the Board satisfactory evidence of compliance with the qualifications and requirements adopted by the Board under this subtitle for license reinstatements.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=14-5F-16","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"e2d15e77bb9067a061f5a3a9ffa061b11b06e1fe45e636eeefeb2f3263440ec5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-15.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-17"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
