Code, Health Occupations § 14–5F–25","heading":"","body":"(a) A disciplinary panel may issue a cease and desist order for:\n(1) Practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or with an unauthorized person; or\n(2) Supervising or aiding an unauthorized person in the practice of naturopathic medicine.\n(b) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, a licensed physician may not employ an individual practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or without a collaboration and consultation agreement.\n(c) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an employer may not employ an individual practicing naturopathic medicine without a license or without a collaboration and consultation agreement.\n(d) A disciplinary panel may impose a civil penalty of up to $5,000 for a violation of this section.\n(e) The Board shall remit any penalty collected under this section into the General Fund of the State.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=14-5F-25","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"8c1be49dd62b07c40c5e11b0c31ee33976049a2bcd71b7594e8f6a82fd127cff","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-24","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-26"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
