Code, Health Occupations § 14–5F–29","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an individual may not practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice naturopathic medicine in this State without a license.\n(b) An individual who violates subsection (a) of this section or § 14–5F–30 of this subtitle is guilty of a felony and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or both.\n(c) Any individual who violates subsection (a) of this section or § 14–5F–30 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000 to be levied by a disciplinary panel.\n(d) The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this section into the Board of Physicians Fund.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=14-5F-29","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"19f1d1be0b8257d41ba4bac59a4eade8415584ddb4dd95e3b00878d8b958e2a4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-28","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-14-5f-30"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
