Code, Health Occupations § 15–308","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section, the Board, in accordance with its regulations, shall reinstate the license of a physician assistant who has failed to renew the license for any reason if the physician assistant:\n(1) Meets the renewal requirements of § 15–307 of this subtitle;\n(2) Pays to the Board the reinstatement fee set by the Board;\n(3) Submits to the Board satisfactory evidence of compliance with the qualifications and requirements established under this subtitle for license reinstatements; and\n(4) Meets any additional requirements set by the Board for reinstatement.\n(b) A disciplinary panel may not reinstate a surrendered or revoked license that has been surrendered or revoked for a period of more than 1 year unless the licensee:\n(1) Meets the requirements for reinstatement as established under this title; and\n(2) Completes a criminal history records check in accordance with § 14–308.1 of this article.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=15-308","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"b87be087400bc582d3bb6900b1a22d7528c1e6541b02ec6eadac454d3702f6ef","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-15-307","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-15-309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
