Code, Health Occupations § 17–6A–08","heading":"","body":"(a) A majority of the members then serving on the Committee is a quorum.\n(b) (1) The Committee shall meet at least once a year, at the times and places that it determines.\n(2) The Committee may hold special meetings if:\n(i) Requested by the Board; or\n(ii) The chair or a majority of the members then serving on the Committee consider a meeting to be necessary or advisable.\n(3) Reasonable notice of all Committee meetings shall be given in the manner determined by the Committee.\n(c) A member of the Committee:\n(1) May not receive compensation as a member of the Committee; but\n(2) Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=17-6A-08","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"f4dc8d67a43e4d6d4214be4514098911f0e63e79b046a9033f59d5b48ccd2367","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-07","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-09"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
