Code, Health Occupations § 17–6A–09","heading":"","body":"In addition to the powers and duties set forth elsewhere in this subtitle, the Committee shall:\n(1) Develop and recommend to the Board regulations to carry out this subtitle;\n(2) Develop and recommend to the Board a code of ethics for the practice of behavior analysis;\n(3) Develop and recommend to the Board the requirements for licensure as a behavior analyst, including:\n(i) Criteria for the educational and clinical training of licensed behavior analysts; and\n(ii) Criteria for a professional competency examination and testing of applicants for a license to practice behavior analysis;\n(4) Develop and recommend to the Board continuing education requirements for license renewal;\n(5) Provide the Board with recommendations concerning the practice of behavior analysis;\n(6) Keep a record of its proceedings; and\n(7) Report to the Board as required in regulations adopted by the Board.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=17-6A-09","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"14ad97cc59bda8bc25b8cf97df932bc8e2461f66883979b08e4c2bc01e674bef","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-08","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
