Code, Health Occupations § 17–6A–22","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in this section for an action under § 17–6A–19 of this subtitle, any person aggrieved by a final decision of the Board in a contested case, as defined in the Administrative Procedure Act, may petition for judicial review as allowed by the Administrative Procedure Act.\n(b) Any person aggrieved by a final decision of the Board under § 17–6A–19 of this subtitle may not appeal to the Secretary but may take a direct judicial appeal as provided by the Administrative Procedure Act.\n(c) A decision of the Board to deny a license, enforce a suspension of a license for more than 1 year, or revoke a license may not be stayed pending judicial review.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=17-6A-22","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"64da3e52334a9dbec1fd4096486af345ca5bd24aba5cba53c169bbae4ac675d5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-21","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-17-6a-23"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
