Code, Health Occupations § 2–205","heading":"","body":"In addition to the powers and duties set forth elsewhere in this title, the Board has the following powers and duties:\n(1) To adopt rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this title;\n(2) To adopt and publish codes of ethics for the practices of audiology, hearing aid dispensing, and speech–language pathology, and the assistance in the practice of speech–language pathology and audiology;\n(3) To adopt an official seal;\n(4) To hold hearings and keep records and minutes necessary for the orderly conduct of business;\n(5) To issue a list annually of the names of all individuals licensed by the Board;\n(6) To send any notice that the Board is required to give to a licensee under this title to the last known address given to the Board by the licensee;\n(7) To adopt regulations governing the use of telehealth communications by audiologists, hearing aid dispensers, and speech–language pathologists; and\n(8) To adopt regulations governing the licensing of audiology assistants and assistance in the practice of audiology.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=2-205","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"196ac2c25fd201f76cca8052bb47017f1769792841742f20671cdf77e87b4776","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-2-204","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-2-205.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
