Code, Health Occupations § 2–4A–17","heading":"","body":"(a) Except as provided in this section for an action under § 2–4A–14 of this subtitle, a person aggrieved by a final decision of the Board in a contested case, as defined in the Administrative Procedure Act, may petition for judicial review as allowed by the Administrative Procedure Act.\n(b) A person aggrieved by a final decision of the Board under § 2–4A–14 of this subtitle may not appeal to the Secretary but may take a direct judicial appeal as provided by the Administrative Procedure Act.\n(c) A decision of the Board to deny a license, enforce a suspension of a license for more than 1 year, or revoke a license may not be stayed pending judicial review.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=2-4A-17","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"591caca04279452da3aff37b61e7c045d279e79d05ceb0e3ea6c702ecc36ad39","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-2-4a-16","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-2-4a-18"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
