Code, Health Occupations § 4–309.1","heading":"","body":"(a) A certificate expires on the date set by the Board, unless the certificate is renewed for an additional term as provided for by the Board.\n(b) At least 1 month before a certificate expires, the Board shall send to the expanded function dental assistant, by electronic means and first–class mail to the last known electronic or physical address of the dental assistant, a renewal notice that states the:\n(1) Date on which the current certificate expires;\n(2) Date by which the renewal application must be received by the Board for the renewal to be issued and mailed before the certificate expires; and\n(3) Amount of the renewal fee.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=4-309.1","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"3d4d42ef250fc46af7c58fc0b1130b00ee5cc4b51983e0dc89fef08e987a61db","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-4-309","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-4-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
