Code, Health Occupations § 7–403","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board may establish a school to:\n(1) Teach mortuary science; and\n(2) Gather and give out information on:\n(i) Sanitation;\n(ii) Preservation of dead human bodies; and\n(iii) Disinfection of dead human bodies, living areas, clothing, and bedding when death results from infectious disease.\n(b) The Board may adopt rules and regulations for:\n(1) The conduct of the school;\n(2) Payment of tuition fees;\n(3) Admission of students; and\n(4) Issuance of diplomas.\n(c) The cost of operating the school shall be derived from:\n(1) Tuition fees;\n(2) License examination fees;\n(3) License fees; and\n(4) Renewal fees.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=7-403","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"20c4b8300a583f78fe87aa6440de5bd973226199c9fcc1398a0a1461c2063836","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-7-402","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-7-404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
