Code, Health Occupations § 8–322","heading":"","body":"(a) The authority of the Board established under this subtitle:\n(1) Vests with the Board at the time an individual applies for licensure or to practice under the multistate licensing privilege;\n(2) Continues during periods of licensure; and\n(3) Includes authority over an individual holding an expired license, a lapsed license, or a temporary license that has expired under § 8–315(c) of this subtitle.\n(b) The authority of the Board shall be continuous over an individual applicant, licensee, or holder of a multistate licensing privilege and may not be divested by withdrawal of an application, when a license expires or lapses, or when a temporary license expires.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=8-322","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"41162848c9bf494b33bbfd5d301dacb5e928e2b8119f97198b0df9aec846aca8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-321","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
