Code, Health Occupations § 8–6B–09","heading":"","body":"(a) To apply for a license, an applicant shall:\n(1) Submit to a criminal history records check in accordance with § 8-303 of this title;\n(2) Submit to the Board:\n(i) An application on the form that the Board requires;\n(ii) Written, verified evidence that the requirement of item (1) of this subsection is being met; and\n(iii) Evidence of compliance with the requirements of § 8-6B-08 of this subtitle; and\n(3) Pay to the Board a fee set by the Board.\n(b) The Board shall issue the appropriate license to an applicant who meets the requirements of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=8-6B-09","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"3daed4ad28d8f6a783c774abe1926e3b37b16bcca8d625c822af5fcbb28adcdf","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-6b-08","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-6b-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
