Code, Health Occupations § 8–6B–22","heading":"","body":"(a) If a license was suspended or revoked for a period of more than 1 year, or if a period of more than 1 year has passed since a license was surrendered, the Board may reinstate the license if the licensee:\n(1) Applies to the Board for reinstatement;\n(2) Meets the requirements for renewal under § 8–6B–14 of this subtitle;\n(3) Meets any other requirements for reinstatement as established by the Board; and\n(4) Submits to a criminal history records check in accordance with § 8–303 of this title.\n(b) If a licensee meets the requirements of subsection (a) of this section, the Board may:\n(1) Reinstate the license;\n(2) Reinstate the license subject to terms and conditions that the Board considers necessary, including a period of probation; or\n(3) Deny reinstatement of the license.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=8-6B-22","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"cbbad54cc5a2f6e152729c066cab35205f17c730b7132f100a18cc0d4e645b89","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-6b-21","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-6b-23"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
