Code, Health Occupations § 8–707","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 8–317 of this title and in addition to any other sanction authorized for a violation of §§ 8–701 through 8–706 of this subtitle, the Board may issue a public cease and desist order, impose a civil fine of not more than $20,000 per offense, or both.\n(b) For the purposes of this section, each violation is a separate offense if the violation occurs:\n(1) At a different time, date, or location; or\n(2) On the same date and location at a different time.","path":["Article - Health Occupations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gho\u0026section=8-707","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:58:58Z","sha256":"dec7f27a11cf499bfbaae4c71032b02af1f9eedea01bdba28054e3873baf0ec1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-706","next":"us-md/md.-code-health-occupations-8-708"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
