Code, Housing and Community Development § 11.5–105","heading":"","body":"Eligible recipients of grant funding are limited to the following types of programs:\n(1) street and community–based outreach and drop–in programs that:\n(i) locate, contact, and provide information, referrals, and supportive services;\n(ii) provide walk–in access to crisis intervention and ongoing supportive services that include one–to–one case management services on a self–referral basis; or\n(iii) help unaccompanied homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness access and maintain safe, decent, and affordable housing;\n(2) emergency shelter programs that:\n(i) provide unaccompanied homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness with referral and walk–in access to emergency short–term residential care; and\n(ii) provide unaccompanied homeless youth with:\n1. safe, dignified shelter where privacy and security concerns are addressed that includes beds, lockers or other storage options, and two meals each day;\n2. assistance with reunification with their family or legal guardian when required or appropriate; and\n3. assistance to access and maintain safe, decent, and affordable housing; and\n(3) housing programs, either time–limited or nontime–limited, that:\n(i) provide supportive services; and\n(ii) aid participants in obtaining permanent, safe, decent, and affordable housing.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=11.5-105","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"c4649e1ded302a124cf6dc2fbf92eb0a604f980c63e7dc9fcabaa15cd0351dbc","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-11.5-104","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-11.5-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
