Code, Housing and Community Development § 4–2103","heading":"","body":"(a) The Council consists of the following members:\n(1) the Secretary of Aging, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(2) the Secretary of Budget and Management, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(3) the Secretary of Health, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(4) the Secretary, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(5) the Secretary of Human Services, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(6) the Secretary of Labor, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(7) the Secretary of Public Safety and Correctional Services, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(8) the State Superintendent of Schools, or the State Superintendent’s designee;\n(9) the Secretary of Transportation, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(10) the Secretary of Veterans and Military Families, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(11) the Secretary of Juvenile Services, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(12) the Secretary of Disabilities, or the Secretary’s designee; and\n(13) the following members, appointed by the Governor:\n(i) one representative of the Governor’s Office for Children;\n(ii) three representatives of local Continuums of Care;\n(iii) nine representatives from diverse geographical regions of the State engaged in homeless advocacy with a focus on housing, employment, and access to health care; and\n(iv) one community representative who has personally experienced homelessness.\n(b) The Governor may remove a member for incompetence or misconduct.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=4-2103","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"ca5b50d172cd19ddb0ea3ad7e75e8292d059a0a986e34d1112773402cd7c15b6","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-2102","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-2104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
