Code, Housing and Community Development § 4–2306","heading":"","body":"(a) Program funds may be used for:\n(1) salary and FICA for housing navigators and aftercare case managers;\n(2) client–related expenses, including:\n(i) first and final months’ rent;\n(ii) transportation for housing searches;\n(iii) moving expenses;\n(iv) essential furnishings;\n(v) storage;\n(vi) arrearages;\n(vii) credit checks and housing application fees;\n(viii) security deposits;\n(ix) utility deposits; and\n(x) other identified needs; and\n(3) other items that the Department designates.\n(b) A local administrative agency shall be designated by the Department or a local government to manage the Program in a particular subdivision, provide services, and provide funds for additional costs, including operating costs, related to the Program.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=4-2306","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"1476f3a57976a72ffdd2a107127227588f010884c05704308ffe66f69a762671","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-2305","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-2307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
