Code, Housing and Community Development § 4–244","heading":"","body":"(a) The Administration may provide financial assistance, meet any development cost, or carry out any other of its purposes by spending:\n(1) money appropriated by the General Assembly;\n(2) the proceeds of a State loan to the extent provided by the General Assembly or a governmental unit authorized to issue bonds;\n(3) the proceeds of the bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness that the Administration issues, payable solely from revenues of the Administration as provided in this part; or\n(4) any other money available to the Administration for community development under this subtitle:\n(i) from its own operations;\n(ii) from investment of the proceeds of its bonds, notes, or other indebtedness; or\n(iii) from any other public or private source.\n(b) (1) Except as otherwise provided in a determination made under this section, the Administration shall deposit with the State Treasurer any money that it does not need to meet current expenses and obligations.\n(2) The State Treasurer shall:\n(i) credit the money to the Administration;\n(ii) invest the money as provided by statute; and\n(iii) credit earnings from the money to the Administration.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=4-244","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"2c71942daf5350549f4e55b9eb6709ef6429a60dfc9d917ef37da52b3cf57f67","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-242","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-245"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
