Code, Housing and Community Development § 4–607","heading":"","body":"To qualify for a Program loan, a group home sponsor shall own and operate a group home and be:\n(1) a nonprofit organization;\n(2) an individual; or\n(3) a limited partnership if:\n(i) 1. each general partner qualifies as a nonprofit organization; or\n2. each general partner is a wholly owned subsidiary of a nonprofit organization;\n(ii) the limited partnership is formed to undertake a group home project that is totally or partly eligible for a federal low income housing tax credit program or any other federal program or incentive; and\n(iii) a nonprofit organization manages the project or receives the net cash flow from or the residual sale proceeds on sale of the group home.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=4-607","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"b2f6736d7c491b193dd0c93dc57d38341cba5c529e6017b02c1c2f9f12196899","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-606","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-608"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
