Code, Housing and Community Development § 4–704","heading":"","body":"(a) The Department may establish:\n(1) loan fees and charges;\n(2) maximum loan or grant amounts for lead hazard reduction activities; and\n(3) guidelines that give financing priority to lead hazard reduction activities that include replacing windows containing lead-based paint on friction surfaces.\n(b) (1) On application of a political subdivision, the Department may provide money from the Fund allocated to the Grant Program or the Loan Program to the political subdivision to make a grant or loan, on behalf of the Department, to an eligible owner of residential property or a child care center in the political subdivision.\n(2) The Department may limit the amount of money that a political subdivision may request under paragraph (1) of this subsection.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=4-704","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"96b7889302fff76d27e4254696ec26e2ba8d8bccf828538c91c32a2236f00b4f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-703","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-4-705"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
