Code, Housing and Community Development § 7–210","heading":"","body":"(a) A political subdivision or a housing authority may exercise a right of first purchase under this subtitle and may develop, acquire, improve, own, operate, and manage a rental housing project acquired under the right of first purchase and do all things necessary or convenient to exercise these rights.\n(b) In any rental housing project purchased under a right of first purchase under this subtitle and owned or managed by a housing authority authorized under Division II of this article, this subtitle supersedes:\n(1) §§ 12-401, 12-402, and 12-405 of this article; and\n(2) all otherwise applicable restrictions on tenant income under Division II of this article.","path":["Article - Housing and Community Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghs\u0026section=7-210","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:07Z","sha256":"a384778a0b28bcd16af83fb5e7448ca4e07aa0fd50639430291ba8fcd9a50ad8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-7-209","next":"us-md/md.-code-housing-and-community-development-7-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
