Code, Human Services § 10–460","heading":"","body":"(a) For cause, the Department may:\n(1) deny a feasibility study approval; or\n(2) deny, suspend, or revoke a preliminary, initial, or renewal certificate of registration.\n(b) (1) Grounds for a denial, suspension, or revocation include:\n(i) violation of this subtitle;\n(ii) violation of a regulation the Department adopts under this subtitle;\n(iii) misrepresentation; or\n(iv) submission of a false financial statement.\n(2) The Department shall set forth in writing its reasons for a denial, suspension, or revocation.\n(c) Title 10, Subtitle 2 of the State Government Article governs the appeal of a denial, revocation, or suspension.","path":["Article - Human Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghu\u0026section=10-460","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:17Z","sha256":"ba20ae0043fb5eb68f3119bdd62a84bcf7222f957be0049287ae5cd97a2d0528","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-human-services-10-459","next":"us-md/md.-code-human-services-10-463"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
