Code, Human Services § 9–247","heading":"","body":"(a) On or before December 1, 2024, and each December 1 thereafter, the Department shall report to the Commission on Juvenile Justice Reform and Emerging and Best Practices and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly on:\n(1) the number of juveniles under the Department’s supervision in the preceding year who:\n(i) were nonfatally shot;\n(ii) shot another individual; or\n(iii) were victims of a homicide;\n(2) the actions that the Department took after the incidents described in item (1) of this subsection, including the timeline of the actions;\n(3) the age of each juvenile described in item (1) of this subsection; and\n(4) the county of residence of each juvenile described in item (1) of this subsection.\n(b) The initial report submitted under this section shall include a description of any established process that the Department uses after an incident described in subsection (a)(1) of this section occurs.","path":["Article - Human Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ghu\u0026section=9-247","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:17Z","sha256":"5bec8dd58c047ffd0d3312ed2db6e9d402a0a9c42429d398f6a6c0721d22be1c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-human-services-9-246","next":"us-md/md.-code-human-services-9-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
