Code, Insurance § 10–124","heading":"","body":"(a) Without regard to the examination requirements of this subtitle, the Commissioner may issue a limited lines license to an individual who is employed by a health maintenance organization solely to solicit membership in the health maintenance organization under a contract:\n(1) between the health maintenance organization and the Maryland Department of Health; and\n(2) in accordance with which the Maryland Department of Health obtains prepaid comprehensive health care services for recipients of medical assistance under § 15–105 of the Health – General Article.\n(b) The annual license fee is provided in § 2–112 of this article.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=10-124","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"58444fb93fc02d9e5cd85d51f48b38db556179009a019888f547cc020d908ae9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-10-123","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-10-125"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
