Code, Insurance § 11–313","heading":"","body":"For a kind or line of insurance as to which the Commissioner has issued an order in which the Commissioner finds that a reasonable degree of competition does not exist, the Commissioner may require the insurer at the time of filing a proposed rate increase with the Commissioner to notify each policyholder in writing that:\n(1) the insurer has filed a proposed rate increase with the Commissioner;\n(2) a hearing may be requested with respect to the filing; and\n(3) an order, hearing, or refusal of a hearing by the Commissioner may be appealed under Subtitle 5 of this title.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=11-313","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"0726680f4418256a67bb8d55ee608cc47d80006b25087eef15f574cb120417ec","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-11-312","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-11-314"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
