Code, Insurance § 12–304","heading":"","body":"(a) If an insurer issues and delivers a policy to a lender on property of a borrower that has been pledged, mortgaged, or is subject to a conditional contract of sale, the insurer must issue a certificate to the borrower or owner of the property in accordance with subsection (b) of this section.\n(b) The certificate issued under this section shall set forth:\n(1) the coverages provided in the policy;\n(2) the amount of premium charged for the policy;\n(3) the date the policy takes effect; and\n(4) the date the policy expires.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=12-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"65dc9d1591e6a8f327b55b17aa84536c6c7c7f5efb813857cc6fba7ffee33fe2","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-12-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-12-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
