Code, Insurance § 14–401","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Dental plan” means a contractual arrangement for dental services.\n(c) “Dental plan organization” means a person that provides directly, arranges for, or administers a dental plan on a prepaid or postpaid individual or group capitation basis.\n(d) “Dental service” means a service included in practicing dentistry as defined in § 4-101 of the Health Occupations Article.\n(e) “Enrollee” means an individual or dependent of the individual who is enrolled in a dental plan.\n(f) “Evidence of coverage” means a contract or certificate that is issued to an enrollee and that specifies the dental services to which the enrollee is entitled.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=14-401","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"01ff07f5316303164192e2902838f3380ebcdf45b72cb6354c96621ae2622199","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-14-206","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-14-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
