Code, Insurance § 15–10B–10","heading":"","body":"(a) A certificate expires on the second anniversary of its effective date unless the certificate is renewed for a 2-year term as provided in this section.\n(b) Before the certificate expires, a certificate may be renewed for an additional 2-year term if the applicant:\n(1) otherwise is entitled to the certificate;\n(2) pays to the Commissioner the renewal fee set by the Commissioner through regulation; and\n(3) submits to the Commissioner:\n(i) a renewal application on the form that the Commissioner requires; and\n(ii) satisfactory evidence of compliance with any requirement under this subtitle for certificate renewal.\n(c) If the requirements of this section are met, the Commissioner shall renew a certificate.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=15-10B-10","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"7f348f2769540146c52cd765e31360b4de0786b7233c4ce36facb585bb52ae9b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-15-10b-09.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-15-10b-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
