Code, Insurance § 15–10B–20","heading":"","body":"(a) In addition to the requirements under § 15-10B-19 of this subtitle, the Commissioner shall conduct an examination of any pharmacy benefit manager registered as a private review agent to determine whether the pharmacy benefit manager is acting in compliance with this subtitle.\n(b) The examination shall be conducted:\n(1) in accordance with § 2-207 of this article; and\n(2) at least once every 3 years.\n(c) The expense of the examination shall be paid in accordance with § 2-208 of this article.\n(d) The reports of the examination shall be issued in accordance with § 2-209 of this article.\n(e) Within 30 days after the completion of a final report of an examination under this section, the Commissioner shall submit a copy of the report to the Senate Finance Committee and the House Health and Government Operations Committee in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=15-10B-20","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"a9d98ac8e236bf09a4879099786a5356e87b50039a196b9d2b131ff1831eaddc","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-15-10b-19","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-15-10c-01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
