Code, Insurance § 19–307","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) An antiarson application required under this subtitle is a material part of the policy to which the application pertains.\n(2) A material misrepresentation in an antiarson application is grounds to rescind the policy.\n(b) (1) Within a reasonable time as specified by the Commissioner, a policyholder shall notify the policyholder’s insurer in writing of any change in the information contained in an antiarson application.\n(2) A material failure to give the notice required in paragraph (1) of this subsection, or a material misrepresentation in a notification, is grounds to rescind the policy.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=19-307","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"f0b6f402d71264776751e78927a1ec89c97ed54680a9e52e8192fcb181b8dcad","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-19-306","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-19-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
