Code, Insurance § 23–203","heading":"","body":"(a) An applicant for initial registration shall:\n(1) file with the Commissioner:\n(i) an application on the form that the Commissioner requires;\n(ii) in the case of a corporation or limited liability company, a certificate of good standing issued by the State Department of Assessments and Taxation;\n(iii) evidence of compliance with § 23-202 of this subtitle;\n(iv) the form of the premium finance agreement to be used; and\n(v) the finance charge, initial service fee, and all other fees and charges to be applied; and\n(2) pay to the Commissioner an application fee of $250.\n(b) The registration application shall include the following information:\n(1) the name, business address, and telephone number of the premium finance company; and\n(2) the name and business address of each officer, director, principal, and partner of the premium finance company.\n(c) A registration application may require the applicant to disclose the identity, trade names, and names of managers and owners of the applicant.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=23-203","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"9b35952b3b67d7b677364e395131c8e21d23b5247d00daf873378428167979c2","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-23-202","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-23-204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
