Code, Insurance § 32–109","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to § 2–210 of this article, a carrier that, without just cause, fails to timely file an ORSA Summary Report as required by this title is subject to a penalty of $200 for each day the violation continues, up to a maximum of $25,000.\n(b) The Commissioner may reduce the penalty under subsection (a) of this section if the carrier demonstrates to the Commissioner that the imposition of the penalty would constitute a financial hardship to the carrier.\n(c) This section does not limit the authority of the Commissioner to take any other action authorized by this article.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=32-109","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"ff2e4307d7dcd98003f126857af471a5cdc5f9a6c3e6d81f23417f40d35c16c1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-32-108","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-32-110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
