Code, Insurance § 8–607","heading":"","body":"(a) A registration expires at the end of every other year on the anniversary of the registration unless it is renewed as provided in this section.\n(b) Before a registration expires, the registrant may renew it for an additional 2-year term, if the registrant:\n(1) otherwise is entitled to be registered;\n(2) files with the Commissioner a renewal application on the form that the Commissioner requires; and\n(3) pays to the Commissioner a renewal fee of $50.\n(c) An application for renewal of a registration shall be considered made in a timely manner if it is postmarked on or before the anniversary date of the registration of the year of renewal.","path":["Article - Insurance"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gin\u0026section=8-607","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:28Z","sha256":"95c74b1b98415bd99ac95828b0b901ddc66df767a4ca34899ed638531a100c42","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-8-606","next":"us-md/md.-code-insurance-8-608"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
