Code, Labor and Employment § 11–1506","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) Through fiscal year 2024, the Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of at least $1,000,000 for the Program.\n(2) For fiscal year 2025 and each fiscal year thereafter, the Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of at least $500,000 for the Program.\n(b) Appropriations and expenditures made for the purpose of implementing the Program, including the use of any funds received by a person under any component of the Program, are subject to audit by the Office of Legislative Audits as provided in § 2–1220 of the State Government Article.","path":["Article - Labor and Employment"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gle\u0026section=11-1506","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:59:38Z","sha256":"154ce5f818e044030e2cfd7384296f5814233203add3c5fbdb114a229f06168f","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-1505","next":"us-md/md.-code-labor-and-employment-11-1507"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
